The Buda district is located on the hilly right bank of the Danube. The main monuments are the Burcht and the Castle Hill, the Mathias Church and the Vissersbastiljon. The hill is walled, the 18th century castle district within the walls is well preserved, the view over the Danube with its bridges and Pest is much praised. And there are many bathhouses, coffee houses, shops and entertainment venues. A wonderful city to soak up culture.

DEBRECEN

This is Hungary's second city. It is located in the Hungarian plain on the edge of the Puszta. Despite the many inhabitants, the city feels like a big village. Debrecen is the spiritual center of the Hungarian Reformed Church. A striking feature is the statue of Michiel de Ruyter in the city center. In 1676, he released 26 Hungarian ministers who had been sentenced to hard labor on the galleys by the Austrian emperor. There is of course much more to see in the city. We recommend a visit to the Déri museum where you can find stuffed water birds, paintings and archaeological pieces from all ages. In the city center you will find several beautiful churches that are worth a visit.

FISH

The River Tisza and its various tributaries are a great area for fishing. You can rent your boat locally and obtain a fishing license. We are happy to prepare a picnic basket full of food and drinks so that a successful day of fishing can never fall into the water. Many types of fish swim here: Trout, Pike, Catfish, Perch, Carp, Zander, Crucian Carp, Bream and many other types of fish have their habitat here. How nice would it be to bring your own caught fish to the resort and prepare it on the wood fire. In our wine cellar a suitable wine is ready to make everything complete.
